Muslim leaders in Quezon City showed their support to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

During their courtesy call held at the QCPD Social Social Hinirang Hall, the Quezon City Bangsamoro Affairs Service (QCBAS) headed by retired Col. Jameel Jaymalin, along with other Muslim leaders, they underscored the essential role that collaboration and unity play in advancing peace and security between law enforcement and the Muslim community.
The visit also demonstrated the unwavering support of Muslim leaders from various communities for Maranan in his capacity as the District Director of QCPD.

According to QCPD, the 60 Muslim representatives representing Districts 1 to 6, were able to present their concerns and explore different avenues for collaboration with the police authorities.
A "Manifesto ng Pagsuporta" or Manifesto of Support was also presented by the Muslim Leaders for Maranan.

The manifesto signified the commitment of the Muslim community to collaborate closely with the police force in building a safer and more inclusive society.
They also expressed their gratitude to Maranan for his dedication to inclusivity and his initiatives in fostering an atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
Maranan reiterated the QCPD's unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of every resident, regardless of their religious or cultural background.
He also commended the visiting Muslim leaders for their time and support.
