From Paris Fashion Week to BYS Fashion Week, makeup artist Jelly Eugenio shared in an Instagram reel post how they were able to make it back to the Philippines in less than 24 hours. They went straight to Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, and got started with Nadine Lustre’s makeup look for that night.
Nadine put on the red dress by Rafa Worldwide and that’s when Jelly knew that the color blocking look with blue makeup was a perfect fit for that evening’s look.
“I started with prepping her skin with moisturizer and lip oil,” Jelly started. After applying the base, Jelly worked on a nude eyeshadow on the lids. Jelly then proceeded to use two blue eyeliners, extending the eyeliners on both the inner and outer corners of the eyes. Blue mascara solidified this electric look.
“It's a high intensity blue against a beautiful red dress and her tanned skin,” Jelly explains, proceeding to apply concealer and contour, setting with loose powder. For a little more color on her face, Jelly used lipliners and cream blush which was placed a little lower on the cheeks “to add more sculpt and definition.” Her brows were groomed with eyebrow pen and clear brow gel.
“Just a few finishing touches, a generous amount of Tom Ford body oil all over to give the skin a lot of glow, and a little bit of body makeup,” shares Jelly on how he completed this striking look.
