Manila North Cemetery releases guidelines for Undas 2023

The Manila North Cemetery (MNC) released guidelines on Wednesday, Oct.23, in preparation for Undas 2023.

The main gates of the cemetery will be open starting Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. only.

Interment and cremation operations will be temporarily closed starting Oct. 28 and will resume on Nov. 3.

It also reminded the public that the cleaning, painting, and renovation of graves will be until Oct. 25 only.

The MNC management said it will strictly prohibit alcoholic beverages and firearms inside its premises starting Oct. 28 to Nov. 2.

Any kind of flammable materials and sharp objects are also not allowed.

Vendors, deck cards, and videoke or any sound system will also be banned inside the cemetery to avoid causing loud sounds.

The MNC offices will resume operation after the holidays on Nov. 3.
