Man wanted for illegal possession of drugs arrested in Las Piñas City

Members of the Las Piñas police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) arrested a man for illegal possession of drugs on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

According to the report of Las Piñas police chief Col. Jaime Santos, which was submitted to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspect, identified as a certain Roy, was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. along Marigold St., Barangay Talon 4, Las Piñas City.

Roy, who was tagged as the Top seven most wanted person in Las Piñas City, was arrested by a combined team of WSS and Station Intelligence Section (SIS) during the conduct of a manhunt operation against lawless elements in the city.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 200 on Sept. 28, 2023.

The suspect was immediately detained at the police custodial facility after his arrest.
