Fire hits residential area in QC

A fire hit a residential area at Talong Recarte Street, Barangay Novaliches Proper in Quezon City, on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

According to the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), the first alarm was raised at 4:45 p.m.

The fire escalated to the second alarm at 5:11 p.m.

Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at around 5:32 p.m.

It was extinguished at around 6:12 p.m.

Authorities have yet to determine the estimated amount of damage to property and the cause of the blaze.

No one was reportedly hurt during the incident.
