The Palms Country Club puts the Philippines on the global map with the accreditation from the International Associate Clubs. It joins a premium circle of privately-owned membership clubs around the world. Club president Hans Neukom made the announcement at the recent members’ luncheon marking the Palms Country Club’s 21st anniversary. Neukom said the process took six months before the Gotianun-owned club was accepted into global organization of lifestyle luxury membership private clubs.
When Josephine Gotianun Yap shared her vision to link with a worldwide network of similar establishments providing leisure facilities for a select clientele, IAC was selected following research and inquiries on the most suitable and beneficial to the membership.
The IAC has brought together 250 clubs worldwide and created a network of preferred hotels and resorts, 60 golf courses and athletic clubs. Additionally, it gives access to over 2,500 villas in the Luxury Resort Collection, and air and land transport services. IAC provides reciprocity among accredited member clubs. The Palms Country Club members who sign up for the IAC app have a range of private clubs to select from across Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, the US, and Africa.
