During their press conference at the Novotel Hotel in Araneta City on Oct. 10, the group shared the secret of their 25-year bond.

"It's our fans. We have to thank them for still doing this after all these years. We are so grateful that 25 years after we wrote some of these songs, people wanted to still hear our songs. When we come here, it's so fantastic, the greetings, the smiles, we enjoyed it, and that makes us so happy and makes us continue what we do," Mark Read said.

A1 is best known for their early hits "Like A Rose," "Everytime," and "Heaven By Your Side," as well as a cover of A-ha's "Take on Me."

Being in the music industry for a long time, A1 mentioned that they want to collaborate with Pinoy artists, including SB19 and Ben&Ben.

"I honestly love the music of Ben&Ben. I think they are a fantastic band, but Ben&Ben and A1, I think musically, are a really good fit because they got a great acoustic rock band collective, and a mature sound. So, I think they would be a great fit," Mark said.

A1 staged their first concert in the Philippines in 2001. When asked about what makes their Pinoy fans stand out from the crowd, Ben said that every time they come here to the Philippines, the warm welcome of the Filipinos is always special to them.

Mark also added that if he could make a song that was inspired by their Pinoy fans, the title would be "Smile."

"I would write a song that has the word smile in it because the warmth and the love we receive from the people here are massive, and you know their smile is known all over the world; people talk about how people in the Philippines are always smiling," Mark shared.

As for Paul, he mentioned that he would write a song with the thought of "going to a home, going away from home."

Presented by Concert Republic, A1 TWENTY FIVE will be held in SMX Convention Center, Davao, on Oct. 12, Waterfront City Hotel & Casino, Cebu on Oct. 13, and New Frontier Theater, Quezon City on Oct. 14 and 15.
