The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 28 out of 87 examinees passed the October 2023 naval architect computer-based licensure examination.

With an average score of 80.40 percent, Kent Arnold Java Alvarez of the University of Cebu received the highest ranking in the board exam.
Meanwhile, PRC noted that the "results of examination with respect to 19 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations."

The examination took place in Metro Manila from Oct. 4 to 6.
It was facilitated by the Board of Naval Architecture headed by its chairman, William B. Hernandez, and Officer-In-Charge Rizalito S. Lanoy.
PRC said passers may register online for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration from Nov. 3 and 6.
They can view the instructions for registration at prc.gov.ph.
A downloaded duly completed oath form or "Panunumpa ng Propesyonal," notice of admission, two passport-sized pictures (colored with a white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope are required for registration.
PRC said the date and venue of the oathtaking will be announced soon.
