Water interruptions to hit eastern Metro Manila

East zone concessionaire Manila Water Co. announced water suspensions in Makati, Rizal, Pasig, San Juan, and Quezon City.

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 10 until Friday, Oct. 13, Manila Water will conduct line maintenance, interconnection, and line meter replacement activities to improve their services. 

All interruptions are scheduled during the late evenings and will be completed in the early mornings.

Below are the affected areas and their schedule:

Oct. 10 to 11, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM

  • Quezon City – Brgy. Tandang Sora
  • San Juan City – Brgys. Balong Bato, Pedro Cruz, San Perfecto, Progreso, Rivera, Batis

Oct. 10 to 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM

  • Antipolo, Rizal – Brgy. Sta. Cruz (Sitio Upper Sto. Nino)

Oct. 11 to 12, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM

  • Makati City – Brgy. Pio Del Pilar

Oct. 12 to 13, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM

  • Quezon City – Brgys. Valencia, Central, Masagana, Villa Maria Clara, Bayanihan
  • Pasig City – Brgys. Santolan and Dela Paz

Residents are urged to store up their water supply to mitigate any further inconvenience.

Once the maintenance activities are finished, Manila Water advised to conduct flushing tap water for a few minutes until the water becomes clear. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
