The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has been acknowledged by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as one of seven government agencies that significantly improved their frontline services to the public throughout 2022.
The CSC's Contact Center Ng Bayan has praised the BIR for its consistent enhancements in public assistance programs and for achieving the highest resolution rates in the previous year.
The contact center highlighted that the "BIR's exceptional accomplishment was a result of maintaining a 100 percent resolution rate in handling complaints, establishing the bureau as a paragon of efficiency and effectiveness in addressing public concerns."
In recognition of this achievement, the contact center recently presented the BIR with a certificate of recognition during a virtual award ceremony.
Additionally, several other government agencies, including the Social Security System, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Education, and the Land Registration Authority, were also honored with recognition awards.
