Smart, TNT subscribers in Israel to get free mobile services

Smart Communications Inc. announced that it is providing free roaming and load assistance to help Filipino Smart and TNT subscribers in Israel amid the escalating conflict in the area.

Roaming customers in Israel are instructed to connect to Smart’s network partners on their mobile phones to avail of the services.

Afterwards, they will receive a text message containing the instructions they must follow.

Once activated, customers can use the load assistance to use for roaming data, calls, and texts or short message service (SMS).

“Access to information and communication is vital during a crisis. We are praying for the safety of our fellow Filipinos as we continue to monitor the conflict in Israel,” said Shing Dimagiba, Smart Vice President for Postpaid and International Roaming Business.

Smart said it is committed to providing free mobile aid to Filipinos overseas especially in times of crises.
