Security guard punched to death in Batangas City

BATANGAS CITY – A 56-year-old security guard was punched to death by his colleague during a heated   argument here on Monday afternoon, October 9, in Barangay 17, this city.

Police identified the victim as Emmanuel Bautista, a resident of Barangay 18, this city.

Investigation said Bautista and the suspect, Jayson, 30, also a resident of Barangay 18, were having a drinking spree in their rented apartment when a heated argument erupted and resulted in a fistfight.

Jayson punched the victim once in the face and fell with his head hitting the steel footrest of a motorcycle.

Bautista was taken to a hospital where he declared dead due to a head injury. The suspect fled and now the subject of a manhunt.
