Migs Oczon and Robi Nayve starred as College of St. Benilde survived Perpetual’s late-game fightback with a 86-80 win in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Oczon and Nayve combined for 39 points, which were enough to give the Blazers enough cushion and spoil Christian Pagaran's eight-point surge in the final minute.
Despite improving to a 3-3 record, Benilde head coach Charles Tiu was furious after almost wasting the lead when the Altas made the run.
“I was happy for the first three quarters until the fourth quarter, I don’t know what they’re doing,” Tiu said.
“They can’t follow instructions, they are not going anywhere if they’ll play that way,” he added.
Nayve and Oczon alternated in delivering the decisive blows and finished with 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Art Roque, meanwhile, topscored with 24 points, while Pagaran finished with 16 as the Altas dropped to 1-4.
