Gatchalian cites retired teachers for their service

Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian cited retired teachers for their service during the 11th founding anniversary of the Lucena City Public Schools Retired Teachers and Employees Association on Tuesday morning, October 10, at the events center of a popular mall in Lucena City, Quezon.

The LCPSRTEA thanked Gatchalian for passing Senate Bill No. 2028 or Expanding the Coverage of the Centenarians Act.

Gatchalian acknowledged the contributions and services of the retired teachers who are now senior citizens.

He assured them that he will pass bills that will benefit them.

Theme of the event was “Enhanced Centenarian Act of 2023: Hope of the Retired Educators.”
