Man gunned down in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A 37-year-old man was gunned down by three unidentified individuals in Sitio Gabi-Gabi, Barangay Tambad, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on Sunday, October 8.

Police withheld the name of the victim.

Investigation said the suspects arrived at the victim's house looking for him.

The gunmen asked him if he could go out of his house for a while.

The victim agreed and he was brought about 40 meters away from his house. Gunshots followed and the victim was found with bullet wounds in the head and leg.

Suspects fled and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Policemen have yet to determine the motive and the identities of the suspects.
