A woman was arrested by the police after 13 plastic sachets of suspected shabu in Taguig on Sept. 30.
Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano, Southern Police District chief, identified the suspect as Salama Utto, who was arrested after police operatives bought illegal drugs from her.

The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Taguig police on Francis Street in Barangay Central Signal, Taguig at about 3:20 a.m.
Seized in the operation were 13 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 60 grams with a value of P408,000 and P500 used as buy-bust money.
The recovered pieces of evidence will be turned over to the SPD Forensic unit for chemical analysis.
"The continuous successful anti-illegal drug operations have reduced the proliferation of illegal drugs here in Southern Metro Manila and we assure you that we, your police will keep on conducting significant steps toward the prevention of harmful effects of drugs reaching the hands of vulnerable victims," said Mariano.
