Pagdanganan, Ardina make their move in LPGA NW Arkansas Championship

Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina jumped for a share of 11th while Yuka Saso slipped from the crowded second to joint 18th after two rounds in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Pagdanganan fired a bogey-free 6-under-par 65 while Ardina carded an eagle-aided 66 to post identical two-round totals of 134, six strokes behind solo leader Hae Ran Ryu in this 54-hole tournament.
Coming off an opening-round 69, Pagdanganan continued her assault by shooting six birdies including four at the front nine.
Ardina, who opened with a 68, had a rollercoaster front nine of two birdies, a bogey on the par-4 first hole and an eagle 2 on the eighth before managing two more birdies on the 10th and 17th.
In contrast, Saso failed to sustain her hot start by managing a 70.
The Fil-Japanese double-bogeyed No. 6 and bogeyed No. 13 against four birdies for a two-round aggregate of 135, just one shot behind Pagdanganan and Ardina.
She had an opening round 65.
Meanwhile, Ryu fired a second straight bogey-free 64 to grab a two-stroke lead.
The 22-year-old world number 37 stood on 14-under 128 after 36 holes in the 54-hole event.
Japanese rookie Yuna Nishimura also fired a 64 to share second on 130 with Australian Hannah Green. South Korea's Jenny Shin was third on 131 with compatriot Kim Sei-young another stroke adrift.
