P320,000 shabu seized in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – Police nabbed a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 here on Saturday, September 30.

The suspect, Jerish Christian Panao, 28, of Barangay 2, a high-value individual, yielded 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P320,000.

Police Col. Noel Aliño, Bacolod police director, said the apprehension of the suspect was a result of intensified intelligence-driven operations.

Panao had been arrested for a drug offense and was later released through plea bargaining, according to Aliño.

The suspect is detained at Police Station 2.
