Marcos eyes infrastructure development to boost innovation culture
The Philippines will continue to be aggressive in its implementation of key infrastructure projects to boost the propagation of innovation.

President Marcos underscored that infrastructure development is crucial to the country's goal to create a "culture of innovation."
"We also understand the crucial role played by infrastructure development and cutting-edge facilities. They serve as the crucible for innovation and the foundation of our glorious future," Marcos said on Sept. 27 during the launch of the 10-year innovation agenda of the government— National Innovation Agenda Strategy Document (NIASD).
"And that is why we will remain aggressive in our drive to invest in our infrastructure system," he added.
The President also encouraged the local sector to carry out projects that will address the needs of their localities and urged them to collaborate with other stakeholders.
"We will likewise encourage our counterparts in the local sector to pursue projects that will meet the requirements for their own localities," Marcos said.
The Chief Executive stressed this as he believes that innovation is the key to a progressive and sustainable future for the Philippines, and infrastructure development plays a key role in this.
