171 Ifugao cops hurdle drug test


LAGAWE, Ifugao – One-hundred seventy police officers from the Ifugao Police Provincial Office (PPO) and the 1501st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-15 passed the drug test conducted in Camp Col. Joaquin P. Dunuan here on September 29.

According to Police Lt. Col. Joseph Cayat, officer-in-charge of the Ifugao PPO, they were randomly selected during the accounting of personnel and conduct of Police Informationand Continuous Education.

All urine specimens collected from them yielded negative for shabu and marijuana.

The drug test was administered by the Ifugao Provincial Forensic Unit.

The regular random drug test is administered to Philippine National Police personnel as part of its internal cleansing program.
