Matet, Nora Aunor bury the hatchet

All is well now between Matet De Leon and Nora Aunor.

Mother and daughter made headlines late last year following a bit of misunderstanding relating to their competing tuyo business.

They have since let bygones be bygones.

Matet shared in a recent vlog that it was her mom, the country’s one and only Superstar, who reached out to her and initiated the reconciliation.

“Nag chat sa akin si mommy na sana maging maayos na, maging okay na kami, na sana kasi bagong taon  kalimutan na natin yung mga nangyari nitong nakaraan,” she shared.

Matet was only too quick to accept the apology.

She said, “Who am I not to say yes to that and (not) to agree with her? Ang Diyos nga nagpapatawad. Ang mali ko lang doon, sinabi ko na hindi ko na siya kakausapin. Hindi ko pala kaya.”

“I think I spoke too soon when I said I didn’t want to talk to her anymore… See what anger can do?”
