Blacklist sends RRQ Akira crashing to lower bracket, faces RRQ Hoshi next
Blacklist International ripped the "dark horse" tag of RRQ Akira and sent it to the lower bracket with a 3-1 victory in the upper bracket quarterfinals at the M4 World Championships at the Tennis Indoor Senayan on Sunday, Jan. 8.

Getting their hands on their old reliable picks, the defending champions proved that their patented UBE strategy can still thrive in the current burst META to score the convincing series win that forged a double Philippines vs Indonesia rivalry in the upper bracket with Blacklist taking on RRQ Hoshi and ECHO facing up against Onic Indonesia.
The Filipinos set the tone early with a rousing 15-3 win in the series opener with a clinical performance with Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario asserting jungle control with his jungle Barats pick.
Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna also provided the sustain with her signature Estes, allowing Salic “Hadji” Imam and Kiel “Oheb” Soriano to quickly reach their power spikes to finish with 6-1-5 line on the Pharsa and 4-1-9 KDA on the Karrie, respectively.
Riding the momentum of the series opener, Blacklist took a 15-9 win in Game 2 with Hadji and Oheb still providing the deadly one-two punch. Oheb finished with a 6-1-5 KDA on the Karrie while Hadji added a perfect 3-0-7 line.
RRQ tried to pump some life to its hopes, averting a sweep with a 15-3 fightback in Game 3.
Blacklist though would not be denied as it cruised to a 19-4 clincher in Game 4. Oheb finished with a 7-1-2 line on the Beatrix while OhmyV33nus set the pace with a 1-0-17 tally on the Estes.
