Village leader nabbed for peddling shabu in Laguna

LUMBAN, Laguna – Police arrested a barangay kagawad or councilor in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Maractan here on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Laguna police director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the suspect as alias “Jun.”

The suspect was arrested at around 7 p.m. after he sold suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

Sachets of shabu and the marked money were seized from the suspect.

Suspect is under the custody of the Lumban police and drug-related charges are being readied against him.
