ILOILO CITY – Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy was spotted Sunday, Jan. 8, unwinding at world-famous Boracay Island in Malay town, Aklan province.

Netizens posted photos and videos of the comedian watching the Ati-Atihan sa Boracay, the resort-island’s version of the Ati-Atihan Festival, that will unravel next weekend in the capital town of Kalibo.
“Spotted here joining the prestigious celebration of the Ati-Atihan in Boracay Island,” posted Nor Tan Babiera, who had several photos and videos of the comedian blending in with the crowd at the front beach to see the Ati-Atihan warriors perform.
Several tourists who recognized him were able to get the celebrity to pose for photo.
“OMG. We saw Jo Koy in Boracay!!!” posted Mika Catimbang.
“Bumping into a legend at Boracay! Seeing him again in May. He is so kind,” posted Pamil del Rosario-Murray.
Jo Koy is in the country for the holidays with his family. He was recently spotted in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental province.
It is unclear where the star of the Easter Sunday film is going to next.
