No DFA services in Malolos on Jan. 23

The consular office and the temporary offsite passport service site of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Malolos, Bulacan will be closed to the public on January 23.

In an advisory, DFA said the closure will be imposed in line with the anniversary of the inauguration of the first Philippine Republic.

“This is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 117 dated 22 December 2022, declaring 23 January 2023 as a Special (Non-Working) Holiday in the Province of Bulacan, in celebration of the Anniversary of the Inauguration of the First Philippine Republic,” the DFA said.

DFA advised applicants who need emergency or urgent consular services to contact the CO by email at [email protected] instead.

Consular Services will resume on 24 January 2023, it added.
