More than P1.5 M worth of illegal drugs seized from couple in Zambales buy-bust

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Authorities arrested a couple and seized from them more than P1.5 million worth of shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation in Subic, Zambales on Saturday, Jan. 7.

In his report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brigadier General Cesar R. Pasiwen, Zambales provincial director Colonel Fitz A Macariola said the buy bust operation at Sitio Bukid, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales, resulted in the apprehension of Joemmeir John Leapart @ ‘Jun Marzan’ and Angelica Leapart @ ‘Ange,’ both of Sitio Bukid, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.

Confiscated from them were 14 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 227.2 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1,544,960.

Drug paraphernalia, green sling bag and P3,000 marked money were also seized.

Investigation revealed that Joemmeir is a high value individual, and a top priority target in the regional level and is a member of Naldi Drug Group.
