LOOK! Jodi Sta. Maria rescues stray kitten at the airport

 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards best actress Jodi Sta. Maria melted the hearts of netizens when she rescued a cute stray kitten at the airport recently.

Jodi named the kitten NAIA (pronounced as Na-Ya) since she found the feline at the airport. Among those who liked her post were actors Joseph Marco, Cherry Pie Picache, Raymart Santiago, Rita Avila, Pinky Amador, Vina Morales, and broadcaster Gretchen Fullido. Former beauty queen Bea Luigi Gomez even shared her Instagram post.

Jodi and her family had just arrived from a holiday vacation in Japan when she saw the kitten. Her full story:

  1. As I was walking down the ramp ng Arrival ng NAIA Terminal 1, I heard a kitten meowing its heart out as if asking for help and food. Tapos nakita ko siya na nababangga ng cart ng mga pasahero. Lost in space siya sa chaos ng airport. I asked for a plastic bag, nilagay ko siya sa loob tapos nilabas ko yung head nya then isinakay sa van. (catnapper lang ang peg ?)
  2. I named him NAIA (pronounced as NA-YA) sa pag-aakala ko na female siya at dahil sa airport ko siya nakuha.
    I took this picture of him earlier — wake up call kasi may schedule kami sa vet today. He wanted to sleep sa carton ng mineral water so we placed a mat nalang inside to make him comfortable.
  3. Off to the vet we go!
  4. He was cleaned today, dewormed, and had his nails trimmed. Binigyan din ng meds for mites and fleas. That’s Dr Ryx attending to him.
  5. After Naia’s check-up, photo op muna with Dr Ryx and his team from @vetsinpracticeanimalhospital Thank you so much for taking good care of Naia ?
  6. While waiting for our bill, naglikot at nagpa-bibo tapos nag settle sa back ko. What’s with the face Naia?? Hahaha ?
  7. Naia’s pet record and next appointment at the vet. We were given vitamins too and an anti-parasitic/ antibiotic that has to be administered 2x a day because madaming siyang baon sa tummy.
