Did you start the New Year right like Cong Johnny?

Who needs a long list of New Year's resolutions if you've already begun 2023 on the right foot, with the right person?

That's exactly what Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel did, as seen on his recent Facebook post that he proudly dubbed "Starting the year right".

Apparently, the veteran congressman began his 2023 by spending quality time with his better half, Lelis, particularly via dinner date. The couple wore matching green outfits.

The post also brought up the "reinvigorated affection" of the couple, which was evident by the smiles on their faces.

Pimentel is a senior stalwart of the Partido Demokratiko ng Pilipinas-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in the House of Representatives. He is currently a member of the powerful Commission on Appointments (CA).
