BLIND ITEM: New year, new brand ambassador for RiteMed

We’ve been getting reports that RiteMed, the country’s leading provider of affordable quality medicines, has already signed a very popular actor who is well-loved by the masses as its new brand ambassador.

This is yet another blessing for this kind-hearted actor who is now also making waves as a director. His previous movies and TV programs resurrected the careers of other actors and actresses, proving his star power.

As the new face and voice of RiteMed, this premier actor-director will have big shoes to fill left behind by the beloved Ms. Susan Roces, the Queen of Philippine Movies, who passed away in May 2022.

But we are confident that he will be up to the task as he is known in the Philippine movie industry for his professionalism. This is why he enjoys a solid career, a peaceful and private life, and a steady stream of projects.

So, is he a Kapuso or Kapamilya? Let’s not pre-empt the official announcement.

What excites me, however, is what his commercials for RiteMed would be like. Filipinos remember very well the TV and radio commercials of Ms. Susan Roces, including those where she uttered the famous lines: “Bawal and Mahal” and “Huwag Mahihiyaang Magtanong”.

Will the new RiteMed brand ambassador also sing and dance in his commercials?
