A 19-year-old man and his cousin were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Jan. 6.
Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft, Southern Police District (SPD) director, identified the suspect as Hernan Gonzales, 19, who is tagged by the police as a high value individual (HVI), and his cousin, Reggie Gonzales, 43.

The two suspects were nabbed in a sting in Zone 1, Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Operatives from the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted the buy-bust operation and recovered 40 plastic sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 50 grams with a total value of P340,000, the P700 buy-bust money, and a digital weighing scale.
The drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis and the two suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
