Manila Hotel recommends alternate routes for customers on Black Nazarene feast

The Manila Hotel administration recommended alternate routes its customers may take starting Saturday, Jan. 7 to Monday, Jan. 9, due to impending closures of roads for the Feast of the Black Nazarene.
The image of the Black Nazarene will be displayed at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila from Jan. 7 to 9, but the hotel administration said the hotel's main gate (Bonifacio Gate) will be open on Jan. 7 from 2 p.m. onwards.
The “Lakad ng Pananampalatya” (Walk of Faith) procession will be held from the grandstand to Basilica Minor, Quiapo, Manila at 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 8.
Thousands of devotees are expected to flock to Quirino Grandstand and Quiapo during the three-day celebration.
The roads of Katigbak Drive, Independence Road, South Drive, and Roxas Blvd. (northbound and southbound) will be closed from 7 p.m. onwards on Jan. 7 to 9.
In line with the celebration, the administration of the Manila Hotel recommended alternate routes for its customers.
Vehicles from Caloocan City going to Manila Hotel may take the stretch of Rizal Ave., right to Jose Abad Santos Ave., right to CM Recto Ave., left at Delpan Bridge, straight to Anda Circle, right to Roberto S. Oca St., left to Delgado St. and 25th St. going to back gate of Manila Hotel.
Motorists who are coming from Quezon City through España Blvd. may turn right to Lacson Ave. (C2), left to Tayuman and Capulong Sts., left to Road 10 to Bonifacio Drive/Roberto S. Oca St., left to Delgado St. and 25th Str. to enter at the back gate of Manila Hotel.
Those who are going from Pasay through Roxas Blvd. may turn right to TM Kalaw St., left to Maria Orosa St. and Gen. Luna, then U-turn to Road Table, right to P. Burgos Ave., another right to Bonifacio Drive (northbound) then U-turn to Bonifacio Drive (southbound) to enter the Manila Hotel Bonifacio Gate.
Customers must follow the same routes and directions when exiting the hotel.
