Las Piñas LGU distributes supplies, equipment for emergency response in barangays

The local government of Las Piñas distributed to the city’s barangays emergency supplies and equipment which can be used in times of disasters or calamities.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said a total of 600 modular tents and 20 base radio units were given to 20 barangays on Friday, Jan. 6, in a bid to boost their capability to assist the residents when a calamity strikes.

Aguilar said the donation of emergency supplies and equipments is also a big help to the Las Piñas Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO).
