K-pop group SF9's Dawon helps person in cardiac arrest
K-pop boy band SF9 member Dawon helped a person who suffered cardiac arrest, his agency said.
On Jan. 5, FNC Entertainment announced that Dawon would not be able to attend the Season’s Greetings fan event scheduled on that day.

It turned out that Dawon gave first aid to a person who had cardiac arrest while taking a bath in a sauna that he regularly visited.
“Dawon witnessed a patient in cardiac arrest while taking a bath in the sauna he usually uses today,” the agency said.
It added, “He did his best to take emergency measures based on the instructions of the paramedics which were given over the phone, and then handed the patient over to the 119 paramedics who arrived at the scene.”
“After consulting with the artist, we decided to cancel the scheduled schedule for the day and take a break and rest. Details related to Dawon's fan event that could not be held today will be announced later through Wonderwall,” it said.
“We ask for your understanding to fans who are saddened by the news of the sudden absence from the fan event, and we will do our best to help the artist recover quickly. Once again, we would like to thank the fans for their deep understanding,” FNC Entertainment said.
SBS News reported that unfortunately, the person who suffered the cardiac arrest died.
SF9 will release their 12th mini-album “The Piece of9” on Jan. 9.
