The Bulacan police arrested a security guard who reportedly served as a lookout in a hardware store robbery incident in Barangay Wakas, Bocaue, Bulacan on Thursday, Jan. 5.
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the arrested suspect as Narlou Salvosa, 45, the security guard of Metal One Hardware.
Investigation showed that at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Salvosa served as a look out in the robbery where his unidentified accomplice broke into the hardware and manager's office and allegedly stole a plastic envelope containing P109,000, including the contents of a small steel vault estimated to be worth P700,000. The security guard was arrested in the store on the same day.
Criminal complaints were filed against the suspect and his accomplice, police said.
A follow-up operation was also launched by the police to apprehend Salvosa’s cohort.
Meanwhile, tracker teams from San Miguel, Santa Maria, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), and Plaridel police arrested five felons wanted for various criminal offenses.
In a buy-bust operation at Sitio Mulawin Matanda in Barangay Tarcan conducted by the Baliwag City anti-drug operatives, Ramon Quijano Jr. was arrested and recovered from him were three sachets of suspected shabu.
Central Luzon police Regional Director, Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen, said that his strategies and directives are strongly supported by the Bulacan PNP's steadfast anti-criminality campaign, tireless pursuit of wanted individuals, and anti-drug drive.
