'Tuloy tuloy at hindi ningas kugon na OK' -- VM Dodot

Pasig City Vice Mayor Robert "Dodot" Jaworski assured the public on Thursday, Jan. 5, that the city government's Oplan Kaayusan, better known as "OK" continues to ensure that all the problems of the city's residents are known and given solutions by the local government unit (LGU).

In a set of photos posted on his Facebook page, Jaworski, together with Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Rep. Roman Romulo, and other city government officials and employees, visited Baltazar Compound in Barangay Sto. Tomas and San Antonio Abad Subdivision in Barangay Maybunga to check on the LGU's declogging operations.

Pasig's OK brings the city government's top officials to different barangays in the city to check on the actual situation of its residents and its various programs aimed at improving Pasigueños' lives.

"Maraming politiko mag-iikot lamang sa mga barangay kapag kampanya. Hindi po tayo naniniwala dito. Kasama ni Mayor Vico Sotto at Cong Roman, sinisiguro nating naiikot ang bawat sulok ng mga barangay bilang paraan para makamusta at matutukan ang bawat programa ng ating pamahalaan (A lot of politicians only check on their constituents in their respective barangays during campaigns. We do not believe in that kind of public service. Together with Mayor Vico Sotto and Cong. Roman, we want to check every nook and cranny of our barangays to have a clearer picture of our residents' situation and keep an eye on the programs of our city government)," Jaworski said.

"Ang layunin natin sa Oplan Kaayusan ay maibaba ang pamahalaan sa bawat tahanan at maiparating ang hinaing ng bawat isa sa ating Konseho at mga kawani (Oplan Kaayusan's purpose is to bring the government closer to the people and bring their concerns to the city council and other employees for action)," he added.

Jaworksi also uploaded photos of their visit to Villa Geronima in Barangay Bambang to check on the declogging operations amid the heavy rains brought about by the shear line in Metro Manila.

Oplan Kaayusan also initiates and conducts small projects such as the construction of drainage systems and canal lines, upgrading and laying concrete on scarred roads, as well as cleaning and renovating alleys in the inner veins of the city.
