Nueva Ecija drug den dismantled, nine suspects arrested

NUEVA ECIJA -- Police dismantled a drug den, confiscated P501,672.00 worth of shabu and arrested drug personalities in separate drug operations in this province, report said on Thursday.

According to Police Colonel Richard V. Caballero, acting provincial director, joint elements of Cabanatuan City Police Station, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Nueva Ecija and other law enforcement units launched a buy-bust operation at Purok 4, Brgy. San Isidro, Cabanatuan City.

The buy bust resulted in the arrest of six drug peddlers including a high value individual, and the dismantling of the drug den.

Seized from the suspects were 73.1 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P497,080 and a caliber .22 revolver Magnum with five ammunition.

Meanwhile, three other drug suspects were also nabbed in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted by operatives of Sto Domingo Municipal Police Station, Gapan Police, and San Antonio Police wherein 0.56 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P4,592 was confiscated.
