Makati LGU provides free meals for business permit renewal clients

The Makati City local government on Tuesday, Jan. 4, started the distribution of free meals to individuals who are renewing their business permits for the year 2023.

According to the city government, Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) Chief Atty. Maribert Pagente led the distribution of the free lunch and dinner to the business permits renewal clients to help ease their burden in waiting for the processing of their business permits.

The city government also provided free snacks and coffee to the applicants.

Makati City Mayor Abby Binay explained that the free meals and snacks are their way of showing their gratitude to the businessmen and businesswomen for the early renewal of their permits to continue operating in the city.

The schedule for the renewal of business permits is as follows:

- January 4-6 (8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.)

- January 7-8 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

- January 9-31 (Weekdays: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. / Weekends: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
