"They visited an exhibition held jointly by the National Museum of China and the Palace Museum, and recalled the history of exchanges between the older generation of leaders of the two countries and were pleased with the development of bilateral friendly relations," Huang shared in his Facebook followers on Thursday.

The Chinese diplomat said Peng told Araneta-Marcos that the Philippines is an important country along the Maritime Silk Road. She said she is hoping that the Filipino and Chinese peoples could carry forward the traditional friendship of their respective countries and further strengthen their bilateral relations to a new high.
