Pasay BPLO opens BOSS selected sites for business renewal

The Pasay City government opened four Business Permits One Stop Shop (BOSS) sites for business permit renewal starting Jan. 3.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said these sites are open for the renewal of business permits -- the Pasay City Astrodome, New Port Mall, Double Dragon Mall, and SM Mall of Asia.

Rubiano said the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) decided to conduct the renewal of business permit at selected BOSS sites with bigger spaces to accommodate more business tax payers.

She said the business permit renewal at these BOSS sites will be conducted until Jan. 20.

BPLO head Mitch Pardo said they will not extend the business permit renewal and those who will renew their permit after Jan. 20 will pay 20 percent additional as penalty.

Pardo said they are also implementing a number coding scheme depending on the last digit number of their Business Identification Number (BIN).

She said the numbers ending in 1 and 2 may renew their business permit on Monday; 3 and 4 every Tuesday; 5 and 6 every Wednesday; 7 and 8 every Thursday; and 9 and 0 every Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The BPLO chief also said they are also conducting renewal on business permit on Jan 7 and 14.

Pardo is calling on all business tax payers to renew their permit from Jan 3 to 20 to avoid penalty.
