P3.1-M shabu seized in Quezon buy-bust

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Authorities seized shabu worth P3.1 million and arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Akap Village, Purok Little Baguio II, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, this city, on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Quezon police provincial director Col. Ledon Monte identified the suspects as Lorebeth Andaya Berba, 47; Edward Herrera Sales, 50, and Andrew Geromo Azagra, 29.

Seized from the suspects were 36 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 153 grams with an estimated street value of P3,125,280.

The operation was conducted after authorities received and verified reports about the suspects’ illegal drug activities.

Ledon said that the Quezon Provincial Police Office will remain steadfast in the campaign against illegal drugs.
