Donnalyn Bartolome attacked over 'feeling lucky' post

Donnalyn Bartolome is currently among trending topics on Twitter.

This, after she posted her thoughts about going back to work recently on Facebook.

She wrote: “Why is there someone sad because it's back to work? Shouldn't you be happy because you have a chance to make your life and your family better?"

She added, "We should be grateful because we have work. If work makes you unhappy, I hope you find a job that will... Anyway, this is just a reminder that having a job is a blessing bessss change mindset, it’s 2023!!”

She described herself as “feeling lucky” in the same post.

Fans are unhappy.

Many of them believe she is spreading “toxic positivity” through the post.

Some accused her of being “insensitive,” “privileged,” “detached from reality.”

Said one, "Bakit mo dinidisregard ang feelings ng iba? Eh sad sila eh!"

Said another, "Iba iba tayo ng nararamdaman! Respect our feelings..."

Donnalyn is yet to issue a reaction.

Note though that there were also some who totally understood her drift, going on to thank her for motivating them to be happier, grateful.
