Did you know that House Minority Leader and 4Ps Party-list Rep. Marcelino Libanan has a celebrity daughter-in-law?

Not only that, Libanan actually shares a talent with his celebrity daughter-in-law, and this was in full display during the House of Representatives' Christmas party last month.

Singer Gerphil Flores graced the party and performed with the veteran solon, who gave the attendees a taste of his guitar-playing skills.

"Bilang isang musikero, masaya po ako na makatugtog sa inyong harapan at mahandugan kayo ng mga awitin para sa okasyong ito. Isa lang po sana ang performance ko pero dahil gusto niyo pa ginawa ko nang tatlo dahil mahal ko kayo. (As a musician, I'm happy to be able to perform songs in your presence for this occasion. I was supposed to perform just one song but since I love you, I did three)," Libanan wrote In a Facebook post.

"Maraming salamat din sa aking daughter-in-law, Gerphil Flores Libanan sa napakagandang pag-awit (Thanks also to my daughter-in-law, Gerphil Flores Libanan, for her fantastic singing)," he added.

Flores was the second runner-up of regional artists' talent search Asia’s Got Talent in 2015.
