I love speakers. Especially those with RGB lights, just because they’re nice to stare at while listening to music. So when Acer announced their own new smart speakers with RGB lighting some time ago my ears perked up a bit.
But the newer version, which has just been announced, got me more interested. This one is called the Acer Halo Swing. Besides playing music, it supports Google Assistant, so you can use it for controls. The LED dot display panel shows you alerts and messages, which is really cool as you receive notifications without checking your phone.

Of course, the RGB light syncs to the beat of your music and changes as it interacts with the Google Assistant. Otherwise it wouldn’t be fun.
Acer says the Halo Swing is good for ten hours on a single full charge and is IPX5 so it can withstand a couple of droplets here and there. However, we can’t vouch for the sound quality yet and we don’t even know if this will come in the Philippines. If it does, we will be sure to check it out right away.
