4 suspects arrested in Pasay City drug buy-bust

Four drug suspects were arrested by members of the Southern Police District Special Operation Unit (DSOU), in coordination with the Pasay City police, during drug-bust operation leading to the confiscation of shabu, ecstasy, and high grade marijuana on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Col. Byron Tabernilla, city police chief, identified the suspects as Dzun Robe May, 26; Lorenzo Lagumbay, 26; Alyssa Caceller Eden, 23; and Joebert Lorenzo Almenario,27.

Tabernilla said the suspects were arrested around 3:00 a.m. at Amazing Show, Barangay 76, Zone 10, Pasay City.

The city police chief said members of the SPD-DSOU coordinated with members of the Pasay City police Sub-Station 1 in conducting the drug buy-bust operation for the arrest of the suspects.

Tabernilla said confiscated from them were 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000; one plastic sachet containing 10 suspected ecstasy capsules worth P16,800, and high grade marijuana (kush) about 180.1 grams worth P252,014.

Police also recovered from the suspects the P500 buy-bust money; one white Mitsubishi Mirage with plate number NFU 9200, and a red Toyota Vios with plate number ABT5344.

The suspects were detained at the SPD Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DEU) custodial facility and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
