Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) Director Col. Relly B. Arnedo said intensified police operations in the province on Tuesday, Jan. 3, have resulted in the arrest of 12 drug suspects and the dismantling of a drug den.
Arnedo said the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police arrested the suspects and dismantled the drug den in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barrio Mausok Compound, Area B Purok 1, Brgy Bagong Buhay at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police identified the suspects as Dominick Torente, 20; Edwin Diaropa 45; Marvin Aguas 35; Raymond Barro 36; Carolyn Broto, 32; Crizaldy Cabrera, 40; Jobert Baccay, 30; Jose Arca, 29; Bernardo Tenerife, 56; Jefferson Estandian, 32; Ricardo Gonzales, 60, and Victor Evangelista, 45.
Recovered from the suspects were drug paraphernalia, marked money, and 33 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 4 grams and with an estimated street value of P26,000.
Arnedo said five more drug suspects were arrested as a result of a series of drug sting operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Plaridel, Guiguinto, and Bocaue police. Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu and bust money were seized.
Meanwhile, tracker teams from San Rafael, Hagonoy, and San Ildefonso police arrested three wanted felons for various criminal offenses.
