Korean actor and “Reborn Rich” star Song Joong-ki and his British wife, Katy Louise Saunders, are planning to hold a wedding ceremony.

“And today , we are on our way back after registering our marriage to start our lives as a couple based on deep trust and love,” Song Joong-ki announced on his fan cafe.

He added, “Naturally, we wished for the dream of creating a happy family together. We've put in a lot of effort to keep our promises to each other, and thankfully, a precious life has come together between the two of us.”

High Zium Studio, Song Joong-ki’s agency, told Korean media that the two “plan to have a separate wedding. No specific time or schedule has been set yet.”

One report stated that Song Joong-ki will be leaving for Hungary in mid-February to film the movie “Ro Gi-wan.” With this, it added, the wedding may be held after Song Joong-ki finishes filming the movie abroad.

A separate report by Korean media outlet Dispatch stated that Song Joong-ki and Saunders met in Italy after he filmed the drama “Vincenzo.”

Saunders came to South Korea with Song Joong-ki last spring and lived in his village in the posh area of Hannam in Seoul. They went to places together including grocery stores without being conscious of other people.

Song Joong-ki even hired an English-Korean interpreter to help Saunders, the report said.

When Saunders became pregnant, Song Joong-ki invited her parents to come to Korea. Saunders and her parents currently live in Song Joong-ki’s 20 billion won ($16.22 million) house in Itaewon, Seoul, another posh area.

Dispatch published photos of Saunders and her mother visiting a store in Gangnam, Seoul and looking for baby items.

This will be Song Joong-ki’s second wedding ceremony after marrying actress Song Hye-kyo on Oct. 31, 2017. Their wedding ceremony was attended by about 300 guests at The Shilla Hotel’s Yeong Bin Gwan, or Guesthouse. They divorced in July 2019.
