Korean netizens criticize star Song Joong-ki for marrying Katy Louise Saunders

Korean actor and “Reborn Rich” star Song Joong-ki married his British girlfriend, Katy Louise Saunders, on Jan. 30.

While many fans are celebrating a new milestone in the personal life of Song Joong-ki, many Korean netizens have criticized him for marrying her.

Some have scored Song Joong-ki, 37, for his choice of women while others claimed that the marriage will not last.

“Congratulations. Happy days like this await you when you overcome your struggles. I wish you happiness,” one Korean netizen commented.

But many are negative comments. Here are some of the top voted comments on Korean news reports online, according to Netizen Buzz:

- “Sigh. First Song Hye Gyo and now this woman, his eye for women is just...”

- “I give them a year”

- “Everyone speculated she was pregnant when they saw her covering her stomach with a sweater at the airport... hul. Koreans just have an eye for these things”

Song Joong-ki’s agency, High Zium Studio, told Korean media that the two “plan to have a separate wedding. No specific time or schedule has been set yet.”
