Tingog Party-list says concert series guest Bamboo not endorsing any political group

Philippine rock icon Bamboo is front and center on a social media card promoting Tingog Party-List's thanksgiving concert series.

However, the party-list made sure to clarify in the promotion material that Bamboo--arguably the biggest name in the concert series--isn't endorsing any political party.

"This is to inform the public that Bamboo is not connected to and in endorsement with any political party," Tingog Party-list said in a Facebook post Sunday, Jan. 29.

"His upcoming shows for Tingog Party-List’s Pasasalamat Concert is confined merely as a guest performer and not as an endorser nor supporter of any party or person. Thank you very much," it added.

Tingog Party-list is represented in Philippine Congress by Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, chairperson of the House Committee on Accounts; and Jude Acidre, a deputy majority leader.

Rep. Romualdez is the wife of House Speaker Martin Romualdez. Speaker Romualdez is President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s cousin.

The Tingog Party-List’s Pasasalamat Concert series will be kicked off on Feb. 12 in Cebu City.

Other advetised performers include Master Rapper Andrew E, Queen Mother Karla Estrada, the Plethora band and ILT Band.
