Still no sighting of missing Cessna plane in Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – Authorities have yet to spot the missing Cessna 206 light plane in this province.

The Police Regional Office 2 said on Monday, Jan. 30, that police and military search-and-rescue teams are scouring the mountainous terrain of Barangays Sapinit and Dicambangan and Dicaruyan in Divilacan, Isabela.

The rescue team of the local government unit of Divilacan is also aiding in the operation and a Bureau of Fire Protection team is on standby at the Cauayan City Fire Station.

Air Force personnel are also on standby for deployment.

The plane with six persons onboard went missing after departing Cauayan Airport on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24.
