PNB elects Alfiler as board member

Philippine National Bank (PSE: PNB) has nominated Felix Enrico R. Alfiler as the bank’s 15th board member effective December 29, 2022.

“Director Alfiler is a seasoned banker and his experience in finance and the economy will bring additional depth to our board,” said PNB Chairman Federico C. Pascual.

Alfiler is currently a Board Advisor of the bank. He was an Independent Director of the bank from January 1, 2012 to April 26, 2021. Alfiler completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Statistics at the University of the Philippines. He undertook various continuing education programs, including financial analysis and policy, at the IMF Institute of Washington, D.C. in 1981 and the restructured electricity industry of the UK in London in 1996. Presently, he is the Chairman/Director of PNBRCI Holding Co., Ltd., PNB International Investments Corp., and Summit General Insurance Corporation.
